About the role

ELL is looking for a Director of Operations to play a key role in the management of its enterprise. Everybody Loves Languages provides language e-learning solutions to institutions, schools, universities, and government agencies in numerous countries around the world. Our business model is B2B, utilizing a distributor and also a direct sales model. The Director of Operations will lead cross functional teams, establish processes, oversee the management of activities and cross manage the programming, pedagogical, and customer success teams and HR activities.

The Director of Operations will be a creative problem solver; have demonstrated operations experience in complex, multi-partner initiatives in the e-learning / EdTech space; have excellent written and verbal communication skills; be collaborative; have exceptional team management skills; and be detailed-oriented.

Primary responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy for technology platforms, Content development & head the training and customer success operations.
  • Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
  • Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for e-learning verticals
  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the e-learning technology landscape
  • Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements

  • Identify what new content/technologies can be used to improve the company’s products and services
  • Create and oversee high-level KPIs for training, on-boarding and service functions of the Operation
